DSAP KIDS (5-17 years)

Attitude is the most critical factor related to the success of young students with Down syndrome. If you think a student will succeed, they will. When students are treated like valued learners, they learn. Everyone in a school is part of the inclusive learning environment. Educators need to be willing to work as part of a team and be open to trying various methods of teaching and learning. Students with Down syndrome are capable learners who will progress with appropriate supports and opportunities.

If you need assistance or your child is struggling in school and is not getting the support and opportunities he/she needs to succeed in school, reach out to your DSAP Director of Kids. We also offer parent advocacy and workshops throughout the year to provide you with resources and to connect with others in the community. We can also meet with you one-on-one and answer any questions you may have.
