DSAP BABY (0-4 years)

Babies with Down syndrome need what all babies need: cuddles, nourishment, and love. They will grow, learn, develop, and reach childhood milestones – just at their own rate. Although your baby may have some physical characteristics common to people with Down syndrome, he or she will also look like members of your family. Your baby also needs health care, a rich stimulating learning environment, and the company of family and friends. It’s important to understand some of the common characteristics of babies with Down syndrome, including possible health and developmental issues.

Reach out to our DSAP Director of Baby to see how we can support you. We offer workshops throughout the year to provide you with resources and to connect with others in the community. We can come to your home and visit you and your baby to provide support and answer any questions you may have.
